Construction continues on a new outfall pipe as part of a large scale upgrade for the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant, which serves 1.25 million Metro Vancouver residents. The new pipe is expected to meet regional growth needs for the next 100 years while ensuring greater seismic resilience and continuous, reliable, and safe management of liquid waste.
