The kʷikʷəƛ̓əm/Kwikwetlem First Nation commissioned Indigenous artist Brandon Gabriel from the Kwantlen First Nation to carve a house post to “tell our story of healing, hope, and coming home.” Carved from a 600-year-old red cedar from the Coquitlam Watershed, it was unveiled at the Red Fish Healing Centre for Mental Health and Addiction (θəqiʔ ɫəwʔənəq leləm) at səmiq̓ʷəʔelə/Riverview in August 2021.
