Metro Vancouver’s new drop-off facility for recyclables and small amounts of garbage is under construction in Central Surrey. Three thousand cubic metres of concrete have been poured and the total site area is 1.7 hectares. The centre will increase the convenience of recycling and disposal for residents. The facility is expected to open in early 2022.
