Kick start a salmon fry’s journey to the ocean by helping release them into Kanaka Creek with multiple program dates available in the month of April. Presented with Kanaka Education and Environmental Partnership Society, you can chat with hatchery volunteers to discover more about your watershed and how to keep it clean for salmon. Programs have been adjusted to allow for physical distancing and measures are in place to protect you and your loved ones.
Sign up for one of the 30-minute time slots between 11 am and 2:30 pm. It’s free and available for all ages, but registration is required (register as a household or core bubble of up to 6 people).
