Metro Vancouver is currently accepting submissions for its regional cultural grants.
A total of $140,000 in funding assistance is available to arts and culture organizations for regional projects, with a maximum of $10,000 per project grant. These annual regional cultural grants support region-serving arts and culture projects including research, creation, production, dissemination, audience development, project staff and administrative capacity building.
Grant applications are typically due in April or May, however, this year’s deadline has been extended to August in recognition of the unprecedented challenges facing the arts and culture community during this difficult period.
The later deadline gives applicants more time to focus on their base operations, brainstorm adapted methods of project delivery and reconfirm the availability of necessary resources. Following a review process, grants will be awarded in October.
Completed applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.
