Metro Vancouver Update
services and solutions for a livable region

Welcome to the April issue of Metro Vancouver Update!

As we look forward to warmer weather, you can learn about the important work Metro Vancouver is doing in collaboration with the Province, member jurisdictions, First Nations, and other stakeholders to better prepare our region for the threat of wildfires.

Also in this issue, discover how archaeological monitoring happens at Metro Vancouver worksites, read about the new public areas planned for təmtəmíxʷtən/Belcarra Regional Park, and learn how to apply for cultural grants up to $10,000.

We are also pleased to announce that the United Boulevard Recycling and Waste Centre is now open, which will assist in our efforts to reduce waste and move toward a circular economy. Read more about it and more in this issue of Metro Vancouver Update!
