Welcome to the July issue of the Metro Vancouver Update.
Dry, hot weather has resulted in devastating wildfires across the province. In this issue, learn how highly trained Metro Vancouver watershed protection wildfire crews are helping with the province’s wildfire response, and how to enjoy regional parks when the fire rating is high or extreme.
In this issue, you can also read about the Metro Vancouver Zero Emission Innovation Centre, one of seven Low Carbon Cities Canada Centres designed to support a wide range of actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as the addition of 3.4 hectares of newly acquired property to Kanaka Creek Regional Park in Maple Ridge.
